The Office of Student Activities strives to enhance the Carroll experience by providing students with social opportunities and numerous ways to get involved both on campus and in the community.  If you're looking for weekend programming, student organizations, fraternity/sorority life, leadership development, Travel Series, RecSports, Orientation, or the Pioneers Volunteer program, you've come to the right place!

Why We Do It... a.k.a. Our Mission Statement

Student Activities seeks to further the mission of Carroll University.  We enrich the life of the University and enhance the success of our students by providing Carroll University community members opportunities to explore and develop themselves as individuals, leaders, and citizens through involvement with and development of clubs, organizations, programming, and activities.

The Student Involvement Center (SIC) is located in the lower level of the Campus Center.

Dan DeMerit 
Associate Director of Student Activities/Director of Campus Recreation 
Dan oversees University Recreation and Wellness at Carroll. He can answer questions about drop-in recreation, Competitive Sports- including Intramural Sports and Club Sports, Carroll Outdoor Recreation Equipment (CORE)- including the Bike Shop and outdoor gear rental garage, the Cheer and Dance teams, RecSports special events, Group Fitness class offerings, available facilities and more. Alex Smith
Assistant Director of Student Activities
Alex oversees the Pioneers Volunteer program and Fraternity/Sorority Life on campus. She can get you connected to volunteer opportunities within the Waukesha and Milwaukee areas and answer any questions about serving with your organization, finding a long-term connection, or participating in Alternative Spring Breaks.
