The Office of Student Activities strives to enhance the Carroll experience by providing students with social opportunities and numerous ways to get involved both on campus and in the community.  If you're looking for weekend programming (CU@Night), student organizations, Fraternity/Sorority Life, leadership programming, Travel Series, Recreational Sports and Intramurals, Orientation, or the Pioneers Volunteer Program, you've come to the right place!

Student Activities Worker Application Process

Join the Student Activities worker staff for the 2020-2021 school year! Student Activities Workers develop a range of skills to help us put on awesome events on and off campus. SAW's can work on specific areas such as Big Programs, CU@Night, Travel Series, Fraternity/Sorority Life, and Pioneers Volunteer. Have a question about the application process or what being a SAW entails? Email and a Student Activities professional staff member will help answer your questions.

Application Timeline

Application Opens - Friday, January 24th

Application Closes - Friday, March 6th

Interviews - Monday, March 16th through Friday, March 27th

Offers Sent Out by Friday, April 3rd

Student Activities seeks to further the mission of Carroll University.  We enrich the life of the University and enhance the success of our students by providing Carroll University community members opportunities to explore and develop themselves as individuals, leaders, and citizens through involvement with and development of clubs, organizations, programming, and activities.

Elizabeth Brzeski
Associate Dean for Student Affairs 
Elizabeth can answer questions you have about Orientation, student organization budgets and general student activities information. or 262.524.7100
Dan DeMerit 
Associate Director of Student Activities/Director of Campus Recreation 
Dan oversees the Department of Recreational Sports at Carroll.  He can answer questions about drop-in recreation, Competitive Sports- including Intramural Sports and Club Sports, Outdoor Recreation- including the Bike Shop and outdoor gear rental, the Cheer and Dance teams, RecSports special events and Group Fitness classes.  Check out for more. or 262.951.3257
Katie Lesperance
Director of Student Activities and Fraternity/Sorority Life
If you have ever wondered what Greek Life is all about, Katie is the right person to ask. She can also share information with you about weekend programming (CU at Night), Big Programs put on by Student Activities: Spring Fling, Carroll's Got Talent, Alcohol Awareness Week and Travel Series trips. or 262.524.7100
Alex Smith
Community Engagement Coordinator
Alex oversees the Pioneers Volunteer program and finds ways for students to serve their communities. She can get you connected to volunteer opportunities within the Waukesha and Milwaukee areas and answer any questions about serving with your organization, finding a long-term connection, or participating in Alternative Spring Breaks. or 262.524.7417
Stephanie Dooge 
Program Assistant for Student Organizations and Fraternity/Sorority Life 
Stephanie helps to oversee all of the Student Organizations and the Fraternity/Sorority Community. She can help get you connected to student organizations, or even create a new one. or 262.524.7416
