Carroll University’s Office of Violence Prevention exists to provide members of the Carroll Campus Community with resources, advocacy, prevention education and intervention skills to support students and survivors of gender-based violence.

Staff in the Office of Violence Prevention at Carroll University are not confidential reporters.
We are subject to federal reporting requirements under Clery and Title IX. This means we are required to report all instances of sexual misconduct to Carroll University's Title IX Office.
Reporting to OVP does not mean an on-campus investigation will occur, nor does it mean a criminal investigation will occur. Unless legally required, we will not give your information to Public Safety or the Waukesha Police Department without your permission. Rather, we report to the Title IX Office to protect the campus community from potential threats and/or track when there are multiple allegations of misconduct against the campus community.
The Office of Violence Prevention is comprised of professional staff members who are trained in trauma-informed victim advocacy, prevention education, and gender-based violence.
