Voter Eligibility

You are eligible to vote in the state of Wisconsin if you meet ALL of the following criteria:
  • Must be a United States citizen
  • Will be 18 years of age on or before the Election date
  • Have been a resident of Wisconsin for at least 28 consecutive days before election day*

*Students from out of state but live in the residence halls or other off campus housing can vote in the state of Wisconsin as long as they can provide proof of residency outlined below*

Voter ID

Voters will be required to show an acceptable form of photo ID. Acceptable forms of ID include:
  • WI Driver License or State ID Card
  • US Passport
  • Armed Forces ID Card
  • Indian Tribal ID Card
  • Certificate of Naturalization
  • WI Driver License or State ID Card Receipts
  • Carroll University Voter ID Card*
A Carroll University Voter ID Card must also be accompanied by a separate document (Carroll University Enrollment Verification Letter) that proves enrollment to be valid for voting purposes.
