Pioneer Volunteers at Carroll University is the University's student volunteer engagement program. With Pioneer Volunteers, students can find opportunities to volunteer in the broader Waukesha community. Those opportunities range from one-day, one-time service projects to ongoing volunteer placements. Pioneer Volunteers works with more than 20 community partners to provide a wide range of volunteer opportunities in focus areas like environmental sustainability, education, poverty alleviation, and health care.

Meet Our Staff!

Pioneer Volunteers is supported by a full-time professional staff member and the Pioneer Volunteers Student Workers!
Jake Eisch, Associate Director of Student Activities
Jake attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF) where he earned his undergraduate degree with a major in Art and a minor in Sociology/Anthropology/Criminal Justice, and Western Illinois University for Grad School where he earned his degree in the College Student Personnel program. Jake's passion for volunteering stems from his previous experiences working with environmental clean up, animal shelters, and youth in the community. But when it comes down to it, Jake just loves serving the community wherever there is a need! Jake is excited to get you connected in the Waukesha and greater Milwaukee communities. Contact Jake at or (262) 524-7686.
