Orientation Mission statement

The mission of the Orientation program is to assist new students as they transition to Carroll University. By exposing students to the numerous curricular and co-curricular areas of university life, we strive to develop a solid foundation that fosters lifelong learning and encourages students to become actively involved members in a diverse community.

What is orientation?

Orientation at Carroll University is an exciting experience. In just a short time, you’ll learn your way around campus, meet key people who will help make your Carroll experience a success and get to know other new students. Our goal is to help you make a successful transition from high school to college. You will be greeted by an enthusiastic, dedicated and professional group of Orientation Mentors - all of them Carroll students. They will answer your questions about academics, roommates, getting involved and life at Carroll. We want to make sure you feel great about your decision to join the Carroll community.

Resident students will move in on Friday, August 31, 2018. (Fall student-athletes may have an earlier move-in date.)

Orientation events and activities begin on Friday, August 31, 2018 and end on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

The first day of class for new students is Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
