Summer Housing

SUMMER 2018 HOUSING INFORMATION

  • Summer housing applications will be available online March 8 – April 27.
  • You will need to click on the “Apply for Summer” tab.
  • Prairie Hall will be the Summer residence hall.
  • If you are a graduating senior, assisting at Commencement, or must stay on campus between May 9th and May 14th and not staying for Summer I housing you must complete the Commencement Extension form. Commencement Extension forms will be available beginning April 24 – watch your email for more information. 
  • Summer I (May 9 – May 30) $490 housing fee. Housing is free for students who are taking a class or need to remain on campus for a university reason. A campus job is not considered a university reason.  Students completing the Summer I housing application do not need to complete the Commencement Extension Form.  Students staying for Summer I only will remain in their Spring housing placements.  Spring semester dining plans and dining dollars can be used until May 30, 2018.
  • Summer II (May 31– July 12) $980 or $784 housing fee
    • $980 for students not taking a class or working on campus 20 or more hours per week.
    • $784 for students taking a Carroll class or working on campus 20 or more hours per week.

 

  • Summer III (July 13 – September 1) $980 or $784 housing fee
    • $980 for students not taking a class or working on campus 20 or more hours per week.
    • $784 for students taking a Carroll class or working on campus 20 or more hours per week.

 

  • Only students who have a Fall 2018 housing placement are eligible for Summer III
  • Students will transition to Fall 2018 housing assignments August 2 – 5. There will be no exceptions so please plan accordingly.

Students taking a Summer I class that extends into Summer II who want to remain on campus will be responsible for Summer II housing charges.  Charges will be prorated based on checkout date.

Student Teachers who will be checking out in June when their student teaching placement is complete may remain in their spring housing placements.  Housing charges will be waived.

Summer Meal Plans are available for Summer II and III.  All plans include:  

  • A guaranteed block of meals for the summer – you decide how many!
  • The flexibility to use your meal plan in Verde!, the MDR and at Au Bon Pain. A meal transfer can be used in Verde! or Au Bon Pain anytime…every day.
  • Dining Dollars that can be used anytime and anywhere, including Verde!, the MDR or at Au Bon Pain.

Summer Housing
Step 1: Click on the "OnlineHousing" button below.
Step 2: Choose the Apply for Summer Housing next to the Enter Here button.
Step 3: Read and agree to the application terms and conditions.
Step 4: Answer the personal preference questions.
Step 5: Select a meal plan (optional).
