We may not be in our normal offices, but we are still here. Give us a call on Microsoft Teams and you'll get to meet a few new furry members of our team.

The health and well-being of Carroll University’s faculty, staff, students, and their families is our top priority. That is why we want to provide our community with information that can keep them healthy and informed about the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Please visit our resource page to stay informed and up-to-date.

Remote Work

  • We are requiring all employees who are able to work remotely to do so.
  • Employees will be contacted by there supervisor if they are designated staffing for critical functions of the University that require them to work on campus.

Sick Leave Changes:

  • Allow sick time to be used due to the closures of schools and child-care facilities or during a self-quarantine.
  • Six month's work of sick time accruals will be granted in Kronos (i.e. if you accrue 8 hours per month, you will be granted an additional 48 hours of sick time). This additional time is not going to expire due to the constantly evolving COVID-19 situation. Please visit the resource page for information on usage.

Recent Travel

  • We are asking employees who have traveled to an international location or domestic state with known community spread, such as Washington, New York and California, in the last two weeks to self-quarantine for 14 days before returning to campus. This includes dependents (spouses, children, etc.) returning to live at home who have traveled internationally or the domestic states named above.

University-related Travel

  • All international and all travel by air for university-related purposes is suspended for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester. In addition, all university-related non-essential domestic travel to destinations outside of Wisconsin is suspended for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester. Please work with your member of the Senior Leadership Team for a determination if upcoming travel plans are essential. For move information, please see the links below.
