Additional Resources 

We post hundreds of jobs and internships each week through Handshake. We’ve also uploaded resources on a variety of topics in the Handshake Resource Library. Lastly, we encourage you to follow our department on Instagram. We’ll use this in a variety of ways: keep you up to date on how to get in touch with our staff, weekly Q and A sessions on different career topics, highlighting jobs and internship postings, and more. Exact appointment availability can be found using Handshake and can be used for scheduling with peer and professional staff. Night appointments (appointments beginning after 4:30pm) with professional staff can be made by request.

Professional Advisors
If you need guidance in choosing a major, career exploration, networking tips, interview assistance/mock interviews,
or would like additional assistance with your resume/cover letter, you can make an appointment with one of our
Career Services professional staff members. To do so, please email one of the following Career Services Advisors:
Career Fellows (peer advisors)
Career Fellows are Carroll students who have been trained
to review resumes/cover letters, assist students with job and
internship searches and guide students in LinkedIn best practices.
If you would like to meet with a Career Fellow, please review their 
hours using Handshake (found at the top right of the page).

Neighborhood and Community Job Board

The Neighborhood & Community Job Board (NCJB) is a collection of opportunities specific for Carroll students from Waukesha businesses and community members. 

What’s the difference between Handshake and the NCJB?

Handshake hosts internships and full-time positions that require a degree.
NCJB hosts seasonal, part-time, and non-degree seeking positions within the greater Waukesha Community.
