Carroll University, Wisconsin’s first four-year institution of higher education, occupies a 50-acre campus in the historic city of Waukesha. Conveniently located within a short drive from of Milwaukee (15 miles east), Madison (60 miles west), and Chicago (100 miles south).

Our facilities deliver the excellence you expect from Carroll University.  From a small lunch meeting to a large wedding reception, the different options on our campus provide you with what you need for your event.  Our two campuses provide the caliber of service and distinction you seek for your meeting or event. 
What We Offer:

  • Stackner Ballroom - a large banquet room able to nicely accommodate a wedding reception or other private event
  • Shattuck Auditorium - can seat a maximum of 1162 people for concerts, presentations, and weddings.
  • Dorothy Goff Recital Hall - is a hall that provides seating for up to 145 people with a mounted projector and stage lighting.
  • Schneider Auditorium - home of our Pioneers! A turf stadium used for our football, soccer and club lacrosse teams.
  • Classrooms, computer labs, dining and more!

Carroll University's Main Campus is home to a variety of locations from athletics to concerts and weddings.  We have the right space here for you.
The Center for Graduate Studies, a satellite campus for our graduate students, is located within a short drive of our main campus.  This facility provides classrooms, computer labs, and reconfigurable meeting spaces to meet your meeting or conference expectations.

Carroll University offers a variety of unforgettable wedding, birthday party, family reunion, or any other special occasion experiences.  Our campus presents elegant indoor and outdoor spaces to match your needs.  As Wisconsin's oldest four-year institution of higher education, we provide beautiful backdrops and charm to any photo taken.

Our Humphrey Memorial Chapel is beautiful for any wedding ceremony and our Campus Center Stackner Ballroom plays host to wedding receptions, banquets and more.  The Humphrey Memorial Chapel is able to comfortably seat 180 people and the Stackner Ballroom can seat up to 300 people.  Our Shattuck Auditorium serves as an amazing photo or special event opportunity with our organ on the main stage. Our outdoor spaces also provide a canvas to paint your special day, including our Main Lawn and Sneeden House backyard.

Carroll University has your summer camp needs covered with our athletic facilities, music venues and meeting spaces.  Our air-conditioned residence halls are great spaces providing overnight lodging, are located in close proximity to our dining facilities and provide access to all amenities on campus. Carroll University's Main Campus hosts multiple venues for all size meetings and conferences.  Our facilities contain classrooms, boardrooms, reconfigurable meeting spaces and more, we have your meeting or conference covered.

  • Campus Center: Home to our Stackner Ballroom, MacAllister Boardroom (pictured above), two dinning rooms, and additional conference rooms.
  • Main Hall: Hosts four floors of classrooms including Schneider Auditorium (pictured above), and our Art Gallery. 
  • Shattuck Music Center: Holds our Shattuck Auditorium and our Dorothy Goff Frisch Recital Hall.  Both auditoriums create larger preset seating options for meetings or conferences.

Whether you're looking for an indoor concert hall or an outdoor amphitheater, Carroll University is your destination. Our facilities provide you with the space to create your perfect music production.  From live orchestra recitals to large scale band concerts, your performance will sound great.  Our Stackner Ballroom is the prefect venue with a stage and space for over 400 standing spectators, while our Shattuck Auditorium provides a theater style space with comfortable seating up to 1162 guests.  Find an amazing space for your rehearsal and concert on our campus.

Home of the Pioneers!  Carroll University is an NCAA Division III institution and is a member of the Midwest Conference.  We take pride in our athletic facilities as they are used for training and competition by our collegiate athletics and recreational sports.  These venues provide plenty of outdoor and indoor space to cover you practice, game, tournament or camp needs.  
Schneider Stadium has an artificial playing surface and is permanently lined for football and soccer.  A PA system and scoreboard are available in our press box along with stadium lighting allowing for events to continue into the evening.

Dennis Punches Track & Field Complex includes a 400-meter, eight lane track with a natural turf infield for field events. The artificial surface of the track is eco-friendly and creates a shock-absorbing cushion that is safer for athletes at the same time durable with the varying temperatures. Next to the Track & Field Complex is our newly renovated and soon to be open, softball diamond.
The Quad Graphics Team Center contains our outdoor facilities' concession area, ticket booth, mezzanine, which overviews Schneider Stadium, and indoor restrooms.
Kilgour-Trailblazer Tennis Center is a six-court complex located behind the Quad Graphics Team Center within our outdoor athletic complex.
Van Male is our indoor athletic venue which houses a Field house with an indoor track, an official NCAA-sized basketball court, two volleyball courts, and our Van Male Natatorium with a six-lane, 25-yard pool. 
Ganfield Gymnasium, next to Van Male, houses a basketball court along with a dance studio.
