Your health and well-being are important to your academic success at Carroll University. For this reason, the University requires all registered full-time and international students to carry adequate health insurance, either through one of the University sponsored health insurance plans, or other coverage such as a parent's employer.
Each academic year a student is enrolled at Carroll University, he or she must choose to either enroll in, or waive participation in, one of the two University sponsored Student Health Insurance Plans. The Enrollment/Waiver Period for the 2015-2016 academic year begins on June 1, 2015 and ends one month after classes start - October 1, 2015. After that date, students are enrolled in and charged for the least expensive of the University sponsored plans. This charge cannot be removed after the Enrollment/Waiver Period ends.
The two University sponsored student health insurance plans, offered by WPS Insurance, are designed to meet the unique health care needs of Carroll students, and supplement services offered at the on-campus Student Health Center. Information on the options offered for the 2014-2015 academic year is available at www.wpsic.com/waicu
. Information regarding coverage for the 2015-2016 year will be available late spring.
