The New Perspective meets at least once per issue as a full staff on Wednesdays at 4:30pm in the MacAllister Boardroom, upstairs in the Campus Center. Anyone interested in joining The New Perspective or learning more about it is encouraged to attend a meeting. Our full staff meetings this semester (Spring 2018) will take place on: January 31, February 7 (this meeting will be held in Macallister 108), February 28, March 7, April 4 and April 11. The New Perspective, Carroll University's student newspaper, is a wholly owned entity of Carroll University, and is published monthly during the academic year, except during holidays, semester breaks, and exam periods.
The New Perspective strives to provide a suitable working and learning environment for all Carroll University students interested in journalism, photography, layout, advertising, marketing, and the graphic arts, conducive to personal fulfillment and advancement. The New Perspective works hard to provide the Carroll community with a fair and accurate presentation of all news pertinent to the community, following the standards, cannons, and ethical guidelines of journalism as outlined by the Society of Professional Journalists.
The New Perspective is written, edited, produced, and operated entirely by students under the encouragement and advice of the faculty advisor, who is a Carroll University employee.
