Carroll Students for Animal Welfare


To spread knowledge about animal welfare to our fellow students

as well as our surrounding community.


Animal Fun We've Had in the Past:

  • volunteering at Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS)
    • training dogs on the adoption floor to help them learn manners in order to find a furever home
    • helping with transports of dogs that come from high kill shelters in the south or disaster areas
    • socializing litters of puppies
  • volunteering at Center for Animal Rehabilitation and Education (CARE)
    • cleaning cages and feeding the animals
    • socializing the animals
  • Fidos for Finals (event where we bring in therapy dogs on Reading Day before finals start)
  • Homecoming Parade (walk pets in the Homecoming Parade)
  • Educational Programs
    • Wildlife in Need Center (WINC)
  • Trips to the Zoo
  • Rabbit Relaxer (therapy rabbits for mid terms)
  • Other Volunteer Opportunities 
  • And So Much More!

We are done with meetings for this year. Please stay tuned for day, time and location for next year. Can't wait to see you there!
