How do I obtain a username and password?
Enter the information requested in the "Register for Carroll Connect" form.  Enter the e-mail address that you want to use for your username and your current last name.  Click the submit button.  The form will return a page that includes results of matches to your last name and class year at the bottom under the question, "Who are you?"  Click on the name that represents your unique identity.  On the next page you will be asked to verify your identity by entering the last 5 digits of your social security number or your student id number.  Enter the appropriate number and click submit. Your username will be the e-mail address you entered in the registration form, your password will be e-mailed to you.  You may change your password after you have successfully logged in for the first time.  If you need additional assistance help forms are provided along the way or you may e-mail alumni@carrollu.edu or call 262.524.7237 with specific questions.

Are Carroll Connect and Career Connect secure? Who has access?
All of the information and services in Carroll Connect, including but not limited to Career Connect, are password-protected and available only to registered users within the Carroll Community. Each registered alumnus/a has the option of suppressing any information that he or she does not wish to appear on the system. That is, users may turn off particular information fields in their listings to prevent them from being viewed by other users. Only you can access your personal information.

What if I don’t want my information listed?
No problem. Simply complete the registration process and log in. Click on 'Carroll Connect'.  Follow the 'Update My Profile' link and follow the instructions for modifying your directory listing preferences. This page will allow you to specify what items, if any, you would like to be displayed in the directory.

How can the directory be used?
The directory is intended for use by alumni for the purposes of improving communication among alumni and between alumni and Carroll. As such, it is for official use, alumni association use and individual alumni use for communication of a personal nature between members. Use of this directory for any other purpose (including, but not limited to, reproducing and storing in a retrieval system; creating mailing lists or otherwise using the addresses or other information contained in this directory for any commercial or political mailing) is a violation of copyright and is prohibited.

How can I update my information?
If you are already a registered user, simply log in and follow the link to ‘Update My Profile.’ There you’ll be able to submit any name, address or employment changes. If you are not currently a registered user of Carroll Connect, please click here to REGISTER. If you have any questions, please contact the alumni office at alumni@carrollu.edu.

What if I don’t want my e-mail address published? Can fellow alumni still contact me?
Yes! We have added a security measure to prevent e-mail abuse. When you agree to let other alumni contact you by e-mail, they will not be able to see your e-mail address. You will receive an e-mail through Carroll Connect with a message from the alumnus trying to contact you. You will be able to view his or her e-mail address and may choose whether to respond. If you do not respond, your e-mail address will not be revealed. In order for the other alumnus to see your e-mail address, you must respond. In this way, you are in control of which alumni have access to your e-mail address. If you do not choose to allow alumni to contact you by e-mail, they may contact you by phone and/or mail if you allow these fields to be viewed.

What if I didn’t graduate from Carroll?
If you attended Carroll for two or more full-time consecutive semesters, but did not graduate, we still consider you part of our family! In order to be a part of our online alumni community, please contact the alumni office at alumni@carrollu.edu, or 262-524-7237. We will verify your attendance at Carroll with the registrar’s office and notify you when your account is ready to go.

How do I submit a class note to the Pioneer magazine?
If you are already a registered user of Carroll Connect, simply log in and use the 'Submit Alumni News' form. If you are not currently a registered user of Carroll Connect, please click here to REGISTER. If you have any questions, please contact the alumni office at alumni@carrollu.edu.

What should I do if I think someone is misusing the Carroll Connect or Career Connect directories?
For more information on proper usage, please read our usage and privacy policy. If you feel another user is abusing his or her privileges, please report this to the alumni office by e-mailing all pertinent information to alumni@carrollu.edu. You may also call us at 262.524.7237.
